Pastoral Care

Eucharistic Ministers to Sick and Homebound – Are you someone, or know of someone who is unable to join us for Sunday worship because of chronic illness, hospital admittance or disability?  Please contact our pastoral minister about the possibility of receiving holy communion in your own home. Would you like to apply to volunteer in this worthy and life enriching ministry of hospitality?  Contact Katherine Marsh for more information.

Funeral Luncheon Team – A group of volunteers who have time during the weekday to do food prep and set up tables and chairs for a hot meal after funerals at Visitation.  Even if you are not available every week or every month but would be willing to be on a “will come if available” list be sure to contact Dorothy Pinnsoneault.  A little help or a lot of help – we are happy for any help!

Bereavement / Grief Support – This team of compassionate volunteers organizes a yearly Mass for those who have lost a loved one in the past year followed by a “Christmas in Heaven” dinner and talk on working through grief during the holidays.  They also provide annual cards of remembrance and discuss new ways in which to support those in our community who are grieving a loss.  Contact our pastoral minister for more information.

Spiritual Support – Fr. Bob Champagne and our pastoral minister Katherine Marsh are available by appointment for those seeking spiritual direction (Fr. Bob) or opportunities for deeper faith formation or opportunities to serve (Katherine).
